Boss Bytch Music

Above pictures are only some of the first photos you'll find image googling "boss bitch"

There's various reasons why this blog is dead as fuck. Mostly it's because I'm writing about Bay rap over at Bayonnaise now and can't be bothered with more than one blog project. Also it's in Swedish, which as it turns out I have more fun writing so that's what I'm doing. I'm not gonna put this blog down though since I still get hella hits from google searches and every now and than someone seems to appreciate the finds. And I might wanna write about shit every now and than that isn't Bay Area rap. If I had more time I would dedicate one blog to the Slow Motion Sounds/Bama movement (which is proving more amazing everytime they drop something). I would dedicate a site to all the dope shit coming out of Baton Rouge right now (the scene is way bigger Lil Boosie/Trill Ent). I would deicate a site to the Dallas rap scene, which is fucking poppin right now with DCC as the leading element.

Anyways, lately I've been listening to hella female rappers. I guess there's different reasons to that, but mostly is because I never don't listen to whatever da fuck I feel like. I'm not gonna listen to a fucking Drake album because his popular, I don't listen to fucking elevator music because bloggers says it's spiritual. And these women rappers make banging music that is better than whatever most artists put out. I listen to great motherfucking rap music, period.

Some of them aren't quite polished as artists, but they show hella talent. And part of why I choose to put the artists on this compilation on there is because these are some the female rappers I'm most anxious about hearing more of in the future. I believe the common nominator that links these artists together is that they are female rappers that have yet to record and drop their best material. I believe their prime are ahead of them.

I hope I'm right.

These songs are not necessarily these artists biggest hits, or even best work. I haven't heard the majority of any of these artists discography so I couldn't tell. They're just songs I like.

17. Asia Lynn - Take Me Out (Ft YT) (LA, CA)

I was gonna say something about each song, but I figuered I never been good at that. So instead I just wrote out where I think they're from. That's something. The compilation isn't at all mixed or whatever. There's mixtape DJ's hollering over some of these songs, I hate them too. The comp starts off with some southern rap, there's some bay rap in the middle, and finishes with some jerkin songs. It's banging, it's Boss Bitch Music, fuckin get with it.

It's hella hot and I have to wait like an hour before the wine gets cold enough to drink

Damn, it's by law forbidden to sell cold alcohol beverages in damn country. People might drink their wine right outside the licker store and get all stumbling, takin pisses right on the street and fall over and what have you, if the wine was cold when they bought. So Uncle Göran, the Swedish Sam, decided all of us thirsty fuckers just have to wait till we get home and have time to put our beverages in the freezer...
So what does one do waiting for the got damn drink to get cold. Listen to random mp3's of course. It's way to warm to be outside, one might think. Mostly I just got bored sitting around in the sun all day, so I'm stuck in here by the computer. Even bored enough to start write some sort of blog, without really having anything to say. However, if you'll ever find yourself in this situations, some of this tunes might help you.

Just pretend this song isn't about love or something Celine Dion'ish like that, pretend it's actually about a brew. A cold weissbeer perhaps. You see? It fits in way better. He even starts off like this:

Somehow the thought of you makes me cold inside
at times there are feelings that I just can't hide
feelings inside, that can not be explained
each moment with you
seems to heal the pain!

This just sounds good. Anytime.

This is new. And sounds good.
Wine is cold now, so I won't write anything more. Maybe after I drunk that bottle. Anyways, I'm in a rush off to eat some cancer.

MC A.D.E. - How Much Can You Take (1989)

Adrian Hines a.k.a. MC A.D.E. (Adrian Does Everything) released How Much Can You Take, which was his second solo release, back in 1989. It's his second record. His mostly known for his hit record Bass Rock Express from 1985, a song I've honestly never heard. See, I'm really just starting to find out about Miami Bass. I guess I started checking for it because I've been hering more and more Drum&Bass hanging around with my friends (Pimp Masta Signelinho among them) that just came home from a six month stay in Switzerland. Overthere they hang with alot of british dope fiends and drunks which all loved Drum&Bass. I figure smoking and drinking alot with people who listen to a certain kind of music makes you feel that music too, I think that's what happend.. Anyhoo, this Drum&Bass thing reminded me of this record which I downloaded and listend to quite alot about a year ago, as you figure I'm talking about the above mentioned MC A.D.E. record (dl from travis at WYDU, see link list).

What I'm trying to say is since I don't no shit really about Miami Bass or MC A.D.E. I'm not gonna write to much about it.. If you like it and want to learn more you have a better chanse getting facts from wikipedia or google than from me. I'll just tell you a little of what I do know. Miami Bass was big sometimes from the mid eighties to the early ninties. The biggest artists was world known 2 Live Crew. Most songs are about sex, booties, party and a lil bit of crime. That's pretty much what the sound makes you focus on too. The beats are sligthly faster then most hip hop records at the time and are construced to make you dance (possibly the thought was to get the bikini and string wearing ladies down in Miami to shake their behinds in front the fellas, kinda like pre ecxtasy I figure.. Actually didn't Miami Bass start to fall off about the sametime ecxstay became popular?). I think I read somewhere MC A.D.E. is now passed away. I don't know anything about the circumstances... May he rest in peace, hopefully his music will live on to this day and many more...

About How Much Can You Take. It starts off with two tracks that I think is pretty much all drum&bass, no verses really just fast beats.. The next couple of tracks ADE starts spitting. His flow is typical eighties early ninties sounding, I really don't hear alot of Miami accent.. As most rappers from those days his voice sounds kinda New York.

You got the every rap tape must have tracks about the rappers own greatness (A.D.E. Got It Going On) and the classic fuck a bitch track (Money Hounding Ho's). Quite suprising he has a song about safe sex, Sex, Crime Drugs. Altough pretty much all the verses are kinda boring and predictable that's one of my favourite tracks. The rest of tracks are mostly about shaking booties, partying and sex. My personal topics of choice. I'm pretty sure all tracks are produced and mixed by A.D.E. himself.

That's all I'm gonna write this time.. I'll be back in a couple of days with Part Three of the iaudio tracklists and perhaps another album post..
